A statement from the police confirmed paramedics and police were called the her North London flat less than two hours ago, where she was pronounced dead on the scene. Police have said the cause of her death is still undecided.
The singer has seen many triumphs and troubles in her career. Her second studio album, "Back To Black", spawned many hits for the singer and earned her critical acclaim and many prestigious awards including several Grammy Awards. However, it was her life away from the microphone that gave the artist the reputation she had. Her life was tormented by drugs and alcohol abuse as she tried to cope her aspiring fame and her personal life. After many unsuccessful rehab attempts, Amy never cleaned herself up.
